Coquet Books is a specialist book designer and publisher offering titles concerning the people and places of Northumberland.

Coquet Books is a commercial brainchild of Northumberland design studio, Lazy Grace Ltd. Lazy Grace are based just outside of the village of Rothbury, the capital of the Coquet Valley. Formed in 1998, Lazy Grace have provided design services such as branding and logo design, website design and development as well as designs for print for a diverse range of clients from blue-chip internationals like Glaxo SmithKline to the B&B on the corner!

Throughout these years, the company has provided design services for both publishing houses and private, small-scale and self-publishers of books. Seeing a need of providing a route to market for authors who simply want to get on with writing a book and not having the expense, hassle and commercial risk of then trying to sell it. If we feel your book fits with our market, we’ll pay you for it and take on the hassle of cover design, layout, preparing for print, printing, marketing and distribution. Simple as that!
